For over eight years, Van Restaurant & Bar has been a quiet fixture on the Clovelly and Coogee cusp. A boutique, community-driven restaurant built on care, consistency, and a deep love of food, wine and people.

Everything we serve is made by hand, from scratch, using thoughtfully sourced ingredients. We work closely with local suppliers to bring in market-fresh produce, as well as high-quality fish and meats, ensuring every dish is grounded in freshness and seasonality.

Our menu reflects a modern Australian cuisine with Asian influence, approached with balance and restraint where sophisticated flavours meet bespoke technique.

Alongside our food, we offer wine, cocktails, and coffee in a space that feels both refined and relaxed. Informal dining meets considered execution, without the formality or the price tag.

Our regulars are the soul of Van. Many have been with us from the beginning, and we’re endlessly grateful to be part of such a warm, supportive neighbourhood.
